John Beaney 1730s or 1740s

Hi this is an updated version of a request first posted in 2018. I hope someone can help.

I am trying to locate the christening of my ancestor John Beaney who was possibly born in the Chilham area in the 1730s or 1740s.

John married Susanna Gallant in about November 1765 in Eastling, Kent. Their son, John, was christened on 28 December 1766 in Eastling. As far as I know there were no other children.

So far the only John Beaney I have found was christened in March 1709/10 in Chilham son of William and Martha Beaney. This might be the John I'm looking for but if it is then he'd be 56 when his son John was born in 1766.

Is anyone here able to double check to see if there is a John Beaney christened in the Chilham or Eastling areas in the 1730s or 1740s possibly the son of John Beaney [christened 1709/10]?

It is possible that it is the John born in 1709/10 who married Susanna Gallant but I would like to illuminate the possibility of missing a generation.

It seems to be a bit of a puzzle. 

From looking around on my old notes, there a few different opinions.  A few people have gone along the line of him living/moving to  London.

Moving towards London -  Bapt 1725 St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Greenwich, Kent, England.

Marrage 1722 st Martins in the fields Thomas Beaney aged 23 and Mary Young also aged 23.



There is a John Beaney aged 94 burial 1822 Charing Kent birth year 1728. Also Susanna Beaney aged 84  burial 1827 Charing Kent birth year 1743.   So i have based his birth around C 1725, which would fit in.

I dont know if i have any paper work for Charing or Chilham, i will need to have a look.

Those burials look interesting. I will look at my old notes to see if they tie in with anything.
