William Alexander McFarlane

I am trying to find the birthplace and parents of William Alexander McFarlane b 1894 according to his death cert, it could be Australia or it could be Scotland he married first Isabel Josephine Sullivan in 1913 and Elsie Catherine Ambrose previously Jeffreys in 1931 both in Sydney New South Wales any help would be gratefully received

Do you have a copy of his death cert?   Does it not have the following info?

Place of birth (city and country). Marital status at time of death. All marriages (place of marriage – city, state & country, full name of spouse, age at the time of marriage). Parents' names and occupations, including mother's maiden name.

There is no birth reg for him on Scotlands People between 1893-1895 under Mc or MacFarlane

2 births - 1890 as Mc in Coupar Angus and 1896 as Mac in Partick

No I do not have his death cert I only know from his Cemetary Transcription that he was born 1894 he married twice but I have not got the certificates I only have whats on the Australian Marriage index I had checked Scotlandspeople but like you have not found him
There was a William Alexander McFarlane b 1867 who married Ada Ward b1882 in 1905 and I am wondering if this William Alexander McFarlane had been married before and could be my William's father but cannot find the evidence

Memorials to Alexander McFarlane died 1903, aged 37y, from wife Catherine and only son Alexander; daughters Maud and Olive; and daughter and son-in-law Ethel and George Withers (also on the Rookwood inscription)
