I am looking for a reg for Winifred's birth,  ( I do not need anything going forward from her marriage ) x

mainly need Her parents  imformation.   on Her wedding cert Father is James Martin.
and she is Winifred Edith Martin.

OK - this is a summary of a theory re Winifred 

Winifred Edith Martin doesn't appear in the census or births that I can see before her baptism in 1915 but it could be that her parents never married and she used her father's name later in her liffe and her birth was registered with her mothers maiden name

 There is the birth of a Winifred Edith Durrant below with no mothers maiden name   It would match your Winifred Edith's birth qtr, year and place plus and I can't find her in the census.under the surname Durrant

and possible siblings also with no mothers maiden name

Tazzie found the baptism of the first poss sibling in Lincoln in 1890 as below with mother Margaret Jane

 Leslie James Durrant  bapt 18 August 1890 St Botolph Lincoln
 Mother Margaret Jane Durrant......no father.

In 1891 Leslie James Martin Drury was living with Herbert Drury and his wife in Lincoln  as an adopted son and in 1901 he is still living wih family but with siblings Beatrice and Winifred whose ages match the birth years of Winifred and Beatrice Durrant   Details of 1891 census below living at 11 Napier St Lincoln

Leslie is still living with the Drury family in 1911 but not his sisters

It would appear that the Drurys adopted/fostered all the Durrant siblings and if Leslie James mother was Margaret Jane Durrant she was presumably also the mother of Winifred and Beatirce

Sorry this is rather longwinded - If Winifred Edith Durrant is your Winifred Edith Martin the only way I can think of to confirm it would be Winifred Edith Durrant's birth cert to see if it lists the same birth date as given in her 1915 baptism

I see on the 1911 , 23, Saville street,  is this the one you mentioned .
Herbert Drury aged 60 with wife ,
has Leslie James Drury aged 22, and then a right mix of people , one being Frances Drury , unmarried with 5 children.
I think this family is really complicated

I can't work out through how Margaret managed to get the Drury family to adopt/look after her children.   I can't see that she was related to them

I see Mr Drury was a hawker,    maybe collected children ,

I live round that area, grew up here, the name Drury is a really common round these parts. 

I see in 1900 , Mr Herbert Drury had a horrible accident at the gas works, Bracebridge, and lost his foot.  it does say on 1911 census, that He was a cripple .

He also got compensation in 1901 ,

it was granted weekly , but He asked for a lump sum , and was given £150.00 by the courts.

that was maybe a fair ammount of money in 1901
