Making  sense of Edwin Hime BENJAMIN medical records
From Bethlem hospital 1908-1909

There is mention of nurse Bessie Charmen ..under a Miss HASTIE #( There's a nurse Jean Hastie of Middlesex)

Addresses 110 and 115 Edgeware Road are written.outside  typed boxes and may refer to previous episodes of ill health I wonder if  they could have been private health facilities

4 maida vale road is also mentioned

Not Edwin s address !
 Which  is given as  25 Narcissus Road

Edwin.has been ill for 6 days before admission

The record is quite harrowing and ends

What does " by order " imply
 
# 1911 aged 53 he was living with.family member
No sorry that is his single cousin .

I have a topic about this family .
My question here is just about medical treatment in private homes

The names I couldn't read were

Doctors - Cyril Shillster
Looks like he was at maida vale clinic

 George Ogilvie of welbeck street

Maybe that was a clinic too

The doctors addresses were much nearer to  Edwins + his wife's addresses that I know of between 1900 and 1918
Than to Bethlem hospital
Maybe he was discharged to more local care
Or to his GP

My cousin sent me a map with all addresses in pinpointed...I can't do clever technology  myself

I think occupation is commercial traveller tho abbreviation not clear

I hope some kind person will be able to find 110 and 115 Edgeware road on a census 1901 or 1911 and see if it was some kind of care home

What do you think the exact spellimg of the nurses name is .?
