1670 Hearth Tax Return - ‘Page Family’
« on: Wednesday 06 May 20 18:30 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone -

Hope all OK in the current situation and staying safe and well.

Hoping someone might be able/willing to help with a search of the Hearth Tax return- I know there’s a publication but is currently either very pricey or out of stock in most outlets.

If anyone has this and would be willing to note occurrences of the surname ‘Page’ and places, I’d be so grateful!

With all best wishes, stay safe,

James

Hi James,

The following is not what you have requested but I've thrown it in just in case it proves useful.

John Page, single, married Jane Fryatt, a widow, 22 Oct 1776 at Great Easton, Essex.

I found this marriage whilst researching the Fryatt surname recently.

Regards.
Concentrating currently on:
Essex: Card, Harris, Stowell, Theobald/Tibbles & Turner.
Norfolk: Beale, Cork & Dalton.
Yorkshire: Oswald Sturdy birth/baptism c1708, Oswald where the devil are you?
