Robert mclean and Janet Carfray

My maternal 2x great grandparents were Robert Hogg Mclean 1900-1975 and Janet Campbell Carfray 1902-1982. I looked at there marriage certificate in 1919 and all I have is parent names. I couldn't find marriages for either couple. Robert's parents were James Mclean and Margaret Wilson. Janet's were an unkown Carfray and Janet Campbell. (could be listed as jessie)
Could you help me out finding more info such as rough dates of births and deaths and parents names? Also Robert and Janet had 3 kids James Mclean 1920-2016 Georgina Mclean 1923-2017 and Janet Carfray Mclean (my great grandmother) 1927-1994.

Also look for Jean/Jane/Janet as varioations.

Roberts birth is on Scotlands People 1900.  His birth cert should tell you when his parents married

So is Janet's in 1902

SP has a William Carfray/Jessie Campbell marriage in 1888

1891 on Ancestry has them as Caffrey

William 25 b Girvan
Jessie 25 b Colmonell
William 3 b Ayr
Jeannie 1 b Ayr

1901 census, Ayr: James McLean, 37; wife McLean, 27; children Maggie, 8; John, 6; Alexander, 4; Mary, 2, Robert, under 1 year. From a transcription; check the original at Scotland's People.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

SP have a marriage for a James McLean / Margaret Wilson , 1891 , Kirkoswald Ayr.
As CaroleW notes Robert's birth certificate should confirm the marriage details
