Winsor - England and Belgium
« on: Sunday 10 May 20 10:45 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for information on WINSOR from London & vicinity who moved to Belgium 1881, returned to England at the start of 2nd WW, then back to Belgium and partly to Australia. Over the years we found a lot of records but there are 3 things missing or confusing: one puzzle piece that doesn't seem to fit (Arthur Ernest Winsor), missing data on one person (John Winsor), and a missing surname (Margot Winsor: née...).

This is part of the findings:
George Sidonie Winsor (1839 Gravesend-1882 at sea) x 1861 Stepney to Bessie Hay (1840 Bristol-1896 Antwerp Belgium)
children:
-Herbert Winsor (    -1942 Yorkshire)
-Emilie Sarah Winsor (1867-    ) x Thomas Meggitt Brooks (1859 Snaith-    )
-Sidney George Hay Winsor (1876-1945) x Sidonie Maria Joanna Van Houtte (Belgium 1869-1933)
 children:
 --George Sydney Winsor (1901-    ) x Margot ...
--with child John Winsor (1931 Belgium-    ) I'd like to know anything on him.
 --Henry William Winsor (1902 Sint-Amandsberg Belgium-    ) x Emmy ...
--Bessie Jane Winsor (1904-1966) x James Reginald Dean (1908 Wallasey-1988 Perth AU)
-Arthur Ernest Winsor (1869 or 1871 Stepney-1947 Ilford)
 x Alice Maud Smith (1875 Smethwick-1948 Rugby)
--child: George Albert Winsor (1901?-    )
The problem is now that we also find Arthur Ernest Winsor or a namesake married
x 1896 Stepney to Alice Campion
 children:
--Arthur William Windor (1897 Brussel Belgium-   )
--Edouard Georges Winsor (1901 Schaarbeek Belgium-   )
So, there is either some hickup with the spouses names, or a remarriage.

THANK YOU for helping to answer the three questions...
(PS: already searched Belgian & Dutch Archives, Geneanet, Familisearch, Filae, etc.)

Thank you Milliepede
And are those wills accessible in the UK? (In Belgium, that kind of records is 100% out of reach.)
**EDIT** Sorry already found out where ("Find a Will" Gov UK)**

Is there any other source we could consult?
