possible banns in read Brymbo 24 June 1 & 8 July 1877 to Ann Jones but no marriage at that time. However, there is a marriage jan qtr 1880 registered Chester with Ann Jones as a possible spouse.

Is this the death of a first wife, Jane?

Thanks both, I had found those, but I'm not convinced.  John Batho was a spirit merchant.
