Strange date

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered many times.
Sir Joseph Bradney in his book A History of Monmouthshire shows a burial date as 7th Jan 1622/30
Does this mean her death / burial was between 1622 and 1630?
The particular instance is p231 The Pedigree of the Family of Powell (Brychan) of Lanpil, in the chapter on Llanfiangel-Tor-y-Mynydd.

That's a relic of the change of calendar, when the new year began in March. so in this example, 1629 in the old Julian calendar, or 1630 in the modern Gregorian one.
