SENIOR family of KILLAMARSH

I've hit a brick wall with Francis Senior born around 1797. I cannot locate a baptism or marriage for him. From GRO Index I have found that his last child, Francis, born 1839 had mother's maiden name of Wheelhouse, so I am looking for a marriage between Francis and Hannah (Wheelhouse). The earliest I have a child for the couple is 1816, Thomas.

Just hoping someone has access to these early records.

Cant find a Marriage but you may already have this?

Hannah WHEELHOUSE Bapt 25 Jun 1797 St Giles, Killamarsh to SAML/MARY
Samuel married Mary GASCOIN 26 Dec 1796 same Church

Just had a quick look appear to be 12 children to Sam/Mary 1797-1824

thanks for your speedy reply! I haven't got the information regarding Hannah as I've been concentrating on the Senior family, so thank you. I've just had ANOTHER look and I used Family Search and just found this information that MIGHT be correct:

Francis SENY b 1797 father William, mother Ann
Looking at his siblings Sarah 1793, Mary 1795 , Francis names his own children William, Ann, Sarah and Mary. It might just be a coincidence but I can't find any Seniors in Killamarsh at that time!

FreeREG nay not have transcribed all Killamarsh records yet.

There are early bapts for the name Senior 1639-1690 the a large gap to Thomas 1816
Large gap in Marriages and Burials also.

Yes I see the Seny/Seney name also,

Sarah 1793
Mary 1795
Francis 1797

Due the pandemic no volunteers will be transcribing now.
Just keep a look out though in the future as FreeREG is a great site and new records get added.

Pretty sure you have nailed Francis though

Thanks for the heads up, will keep looking. This family had a series of tragedies. In 1838 their daughter's clothes caught fire and she died later. Francis died in 1853 (left a will that I'm trying to get my head around) and then 3 remaining son's all died in a pit accident in 1858. Poor Hannah!
