Royal horse artillery

Does anyone have any info on which units or battalions were housed in colchester in 1797 attached to the royal horse artillery one of my great,great,greats was a corporal at this time and does anyone know when they moved to Newcastle-upon-Tyne as this relationship became barracks sergeant I'm surmisation at fenham barracks  many thanks in advance

1797 was just 4 years after the first RHA troops, lettered A to F were formed in 1793.  I'd suggest your best bet in finding where each was stationed would be to enquire at the RA Museum but, like most, they are either not handling queries at present of are taking time to respond.
