Frindsbury addresses renamed.
« on: Wednesday 27 May 20 13:45 BST (UK) »
Following on from watching A House Through Time, I am trying to look at the previous occupiers of my grandparents two houses in Frindsbury, Kent.

Unfortunately, although I have found the streets in the 1911 census, the houses are listed under their old names, is Rosebery Terrace, Wainscot, Frindsbury.    This street was subsequently named Wainscot Road

The same applies to Cooling Road, Frindsbury, which appears to have been named Bill Street Road in 1911.

Can anyone tell me when these two roads were renamed and the house numbers changed?   Or, if not, could they point me in the direction where I could try to find this information?

Thank you.
