I have a birth for a Lily Holland 1886 October Sheffield 9c 472.  Other living relatives have said and have it written down that she married an Edward Turnbull that is the only marriage that could we find.

Maybe I shoud have gone for the birth certificate instead.

Doesn't really explain why you decided to change her birth year.
As otther have stated she wasn't Lilian, she was Lily or Lilly.

Then that is my mistake but I was trying to find a marriage and that is the only marriage I could find that seemed to fit. Other trees have her married to an Edward Tunrbull.

Just to clarify the marriage you are looking for her should have a father Ralph not Joseph is that correct?

Or is it the other way round and the birth is wrong and your Lilian was the daughter of Joseph and not Ralph?

Father should be Ralph Holland and Mother Agnes Gregg

So you don't know if she did marry or not?  I can see her at 26 still single.

Have you looked for a death for her under Holland.
