Is it possible to say where the marriage place actually was and perhaps fathers names.

Hi

You’ve posted the query on the Kildare board, so do you associate this couple with that district?

There were several Richard Justins around Mountmellick, Co Laois/Queens County.

Do you not have any more information?

Cheers

is s the source of this reference the Marriage Licence Bonds Indexes ?

if  so, these only record the names of the couple, the Diocese and the year. The Church of Ireland Diocese of Kildare had nearly 20 parishes also included parts in other counties. A marriage before 1845 would not usually show any details of fathers

Yes, that is correct these names are associated with Laois & Offaly, however it mentions that this couple were married in Co.Kildare. If I can get hold of the name of the church they married at then I can check through their births, marriages and deaths, which may well be held in Dublin.

the Marriage Licence Bonds Indexes give Diocese not county - see the top of the page

the parish is not mentioned in these recordss, you would have to check availability of records for each parish

you might be lucky nd find it's a parish on RootsIreland

So I should move my inquiry to Laois. Just as a matter of interest, is there a list of the nearly 20 Kildare parishes.

The registers will eventually be online but no date or even year yet

You can use the search here https://www.swilson.info/cofiparishbrws.php for places in COI Dioceses
Than use the list of Anglican parish records to see what survives.
