I have a baptism for my ancestor Robert Chambers in 1805 in Weston Longville Norfolk, son of Richard Chambers and Mary Burrell or Barrell.  I cannot seem to find any of his siblings as I don't have a subscription to Find My past, and I have had no luck with family search.  However, I am also struggling to find a baptism for his father Richard Chambers, whom according to ancestry users may have been born or baptized in Drayton a parish close to Weston Longville, as he married Mary Burrell there on the 5 Oct 1794.

Have a look at

www.freereg.org.uk

 They give Roberts father as Thomas not Richard

Thanks for that.  I will have to change it.  Must have been a transcription error.

As Tazzie said FreeREG is invaluable for records;

Weston Longville

Children were Bapt;
Elizabeth 1797
Philip 1799
Anne 1800
Francis 1803
Robert 1805
William 1807
Lydia 1810
John 1814**

Not positive about John. Parents are Thomas/Mary but Mothers mn not stated.
Maybe just another Vicar didnt add it at that time.

Burial;
THOMAS 18 Sep 1814 age 48
(c 1766)

Mary remarried Matthew BLOFIELD 4 Feb 1821 Rinfield (Anc.)

I see that Trees  Thomas Bapt 1771 Drayton to SAMUEL/HANNAH but I am a little sceptical of that as burial has him older and Thomas/Mary dont name a Son Samuel or Daug Hannah.

Trish :)

Thanks for that.  I have  looked at Free Reg and the only baptism I could find of a Thomas Chambers in the local area was the one baptized in Drayton in 1771 to Samuel and Hannah.  There was a Thomas Chamberlin baptized in Norwich but not in 1766, which could be him.  Perhaps they didn't know his exact age, or the vicar got his age wrong on the burial register?  Drayton is very close to Weston Longville, and there was no baptism for a Thomas Chambers there in 1766-1771 either.  The one I have in Drayton must be him. :)
