Thomas Keeligan c.1831 moved to Leeds

Hi I am looking to see if anyone can help with regards to my ggg grandad.  The information I have for him is very limited and from the 1891 census when he is living in Leeds with his daughter in law, Ann, where it states that he is from Co Clare.  All I have for him is an year of birth approx 1831 and occupation of Brickyard labourer.  I know not a lot to go on at all. 

His son was called John, the information I have for him is from my Great Grandmas wedding certificate, which shows he was deceased at her wedding in 1913, she was born in 1894.  I do not know if he was born in Ireland or England, but he must have passed between 1894 and 1913.  John and Ann had two other sons John b 1879 and Thomas b 1878.

Any light on this would be really appreciated.

I have been staring at the census from 1891 and never even realised on the actual image it looks more like Keelican than Keeligan!

Are they CALLAGHAN in 1881?  If so, then John Snr was born in Leeds c1854.

I have no records for 1881, they were on Brick Street in Leeds on the 1891 census but there are no records for this address in 1881.  This part of the family has been quite a challenge! I have just received the wedding certificate today that I have pulled Johns name from, before I only had Thomas as the father in law of Ann

1871 (COLLIGAN)
Piece: 4554; Folio: 109; Page: 24

1861 (surname transcribed as KOLEKER on Ancestry, looks to me like KELEKER or KELEKEN)
Piece: 3382; Folio: 4; Page: 4)

Thomas and wife Rose born Ireland, children John and Mary born Leeds,  William born Ireland, Thomas and Patrick born Leeds.

They look great finds. I wondered about Callaghan from Keeligan.

There is a marriage 1852 Leeds where Thomas Callaghan and Rose Mearon on the same page.

wow I would never had looked at those names, thank you for bringing these to my attention.  No wonder this part of the tree is complicated
