Thanks Michael but where do I find that? This is the problem I've been having, I've been going round in circles on their 'help' pages.

What program do you use to access your emails? I use the MS Outlook included in Office 2010 & the snip was from their account settings page.

On my laptop it's BT Yahoo, which is what I understand they won't let me use any more. It gives me access to my primary email (where I am still receiving messages) and my secondary email (where I'm not receiving any) from the same page. On my tablet it's the BT Yahoo app and on my phone it's the email app that belongs to the phone.

Do you use this page?  If so, you can just enter your other e-mail address.

Yes I do, I log in with my primary email address and the page then shows that and the secondary one. The emails are all there for the secondary one but they're not updating.

Re your secondary address (from the BT help page link)

Not everybody will see the changes at the same time and it will take a few months before all email users enjoy the same experience. And we may not update all your email addresses at the same time so some customers will temporarily lose the ability to switch between their email accounts when using webmail. This will be possible once all of your email addresses are updated. Once we've updated your email, you won't be able to go back to the old layout.

What you need to change
Firstly, you'll need to make sure you're using one of the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 11, Edge, Chrome 60+, Firefox 52+ or Safari 10+. If you're using an older browser, you'll need to update it.

Update your settings
You'll no longer be able to use login.yahoo.com to access your emails - so if you used this, we'll have asked you to change this in advance of updating your email.

Thanks Michael, I found that bit, my browser is up to date. This is going to sound crazy and it is - I access my emails by signing it to the page Gadget showed which has a bt.com/login address (not yahoo). When I've logged in the page heading is BT Yahoo! mail. I can access both the primary and secondary accounts from that page. I don't know if I can access the secondary account by logging in separately, I can't remember my password and I don't want to screw up my access to the main account. I wish they'd leave things alone, if it aint broke don't fix it!

I think the changes are more due to BT parting ways with Yahoo, so you should be seeing the new sign in email page:

Added: I use the same sign in page Gadget showed & you use - but once signed in I'm taken to the page shown.
