« on: Thursday 18 June 20 21:12 BST (UK) »
Hi All

I am looking for the grave of Amelia F Hook died Poplar 1928. Nothing on find a grave or billion graves.

I am thinking if its poplar then it may be Tower Hamlets.

Maybe there is not actual grave or stone.

If this is the same one then unless her circumstances improved I don't expect there is a stone

25 August 1918 Amelia Fanny Hook, age 22 married housewife brought from the London Hospital to
Tower Hamlets Work House.
Discharged the same day - admitted 5.25 discharged 10.45.
No mention who she was discharged to, entries for others have d/c to mother or brother etc.

The Amelia Hook I am looking for is Amelia Fanny Hook yes but she definitely died in 1928 aged 32.

She had a daughter also Amelia who was born 1916 (her first child of 7)

I'm not sure of the dates that it was in use but have you considered Victoria Park Cemetery now flattened and known as Meath Gardens

Victoria Park Cemetery was closed in 1876 and grassed over in later years and opened as Meath Gardens park in 1894.
