John Joseph Callan 1890 -

Hi,
I am looking for the death of John Joseph Callan born 1890 in Woolwich/Poplar area of Essex, England.  He emigrated to Canada around 1910 and became a Anglican Clergyman settling in Toronto.  He joined the CEF in WW1 and was a Captain by rank and a Chaplain for the Army.

His first wife died in 1925 and he later remarried and resided in Massachusetts. He is on the 1930 US Census , in Wellesley, Norfolk. Also city directories until 1933. I am unable to find any further records and the death records do not appear to mention ages at death.

Any help would be appreciated.

"Last Residence" really means: Where was her last Social Security check mailed to?
So she might have been living in Seabrook and went to a hospital in Boston, where she died. Or she might have been living in Boston, but her Social Security check was going to an address in Seabrook, for instance to a child's address, maybe a bank, etc.

Mary's birthdate on those is 3 Oct. 1893, so she doesn't seem to be the Mary on the SSDI above.

I can't see the full articles, but I see an article in the Boston Globe from 24 Oct. 1932 about a continuance of a case involving "tipsy driving" by John J. Callan of Wellesley.  Also, there is an article from 25 Aug. 1932 about Rev. John J. Callan of Wellesley calling police because agents of his divorced wife were occupying the home.  There is another one from 26 Aug. 1933 that appears to be a court case about their home, and a few other articles in the Boston Globe about their divorce and his drunk driving case.

I think the occasion was the 50th anniversary of Wellesley College, 1925. If you page back you can find out for sure.
