There is a birth of a Arthur Barry to Patrick Barry and Margaret O Leary (I think) in Douglas but in 1888, 15th Jan.

Hi Sandra,

I have no connection to the Barry family however I did send messages to some of his descendants
referring to this message board.

They are descended from Arthur's brother Garrett and sister Mary.

Hopefully they will get in touch with you.

All the best

Mary

Just a quick update.

I have received a reply from a grandnephew of Arthurs and they have made contact with the
C.W.G.C.

Hopefully Sandra you will get the message on Monday!!!   They are very interested which is great news.  You are great to send out the call for Arthur's descendants.

I'm sure it will all work out great.

That’s a good result, Mary.

Sandra put a note out for a great uncle of mine. I had already posted on here about him so was soon contacted.
CWGC was fantastic. I was asked about the wording on the stone and was able to have that in both Irish and English.
