Jeanie Mair SINCLAIR

I am having real trouble trying to research the family of Jeanie Mair SINCLAIR, she was born 9th October 1925 in Musselburgh, East LOTHIAN, she met a sailor in a night club, love at first sight she packed her bags and came down to Essex and married him, Raymond George JOHNSON on 14th September 1946, I have the marriage cert. her father is given as Peter SINCLAIR a Miner and one of the witnesses is M. S. SINCLAIR, who my 95 year old mother who went to the wedding thinks was an Aunt of Jeanies'. Any help would be most appreciated.
