Mais oł sont les neiges d'ontario?

[Sorry, couldn't resist.  I agree that Canada is difficult.]

Hi,

Oł est le plaisir si c'est facile?   ;D

I think that there was an error in transcription. Joshua Snow married Mary Jakes, not Margaret in
Durham Jan. 20, 1864. Margaret was Mary's mother. James and Mary Brownscombe were
witnesses, see reply 5 from PB.

Hi,

I think Jakes is possibly Jacques. There is a death of Mary Snow in Bowmanville June 10, 1914, age 77, father *Jacques.

The Canadian Statesman Newspaper, June 18, 1914, page 5, Mary Snow died June 10th at
the residence of William Armstrong.
