The marriage has been indexed twice because the Registry are not sure if the first letter is an S or an L.  Do you have the marriage cert?  If it has been reconciled with the church records then it should give you all the usual info about his age, place of birth and parents.  If not you will need to track down the church record.

You say you can find little of his life - what do you want to know?

I don't have the marriage.  If I send for one will it include both.  I would like to know where George was born in Australia or maybe overseas

Given the name on the inquest I’d be going with Leaman.

A mention of George Leaman in 1874, 1st column: http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article100844642

A number of online trees show his birth in Scotland in 1847.

His in memoriam notice shows his surname as LEAMAN.

You can search for yourself on TROVE.  Only way to really learn how to research is to have a go yourself.  I've realised over the years that I really haven't helped people to advance their skills by doing the research for them.  I mean this in a kindly way. ;D

You could search on ScotslandsPeople for his birth in the Parish records.  Or Familysearch.

May I support Debra's response,

The NSW BDM reference is for one document, but it has been indexed more than once, as the indexer is unsure of the spelling.  Whether you order an official transcription or the NSW BDM registration, unless the NSW BDM had reconciled their summary info with the various church registers that should have been made available in the years prior to WWI, you may not find all the usual details about the parents of the bride and groom, or about the origins of the bride and groom.
