Cleaning Plastic cards

I've managed to get by so far  using online purchases and contactless. Now I think I'll need to use a card reader. I've read that the virus can be passed on through these and wonder what any of you have used (or not) for cleaning cards.

Recommendations that I've read about so far are anti-bac hand wipes, rubbing alcohol, soap and water.....  missed uv sanitizers

I've used my card in a machine ... I have kept  it in a little plastic sealed bag separate from all my other cards/wallet/bag...
I wear disposable gloves when I'm out and if I have to put the card into a reader anywhere I then use an anti bac wipe when I get home and throw little bag away and put it into a clean one....
only had to do that once as use just touch screen ...
Might be bit over the top but can't be doing with sanitising everything else

Never tried it, but assume you can get cashback at the till in a shop while using contactless.

Though you'd be limited to  the contactless transaction limit, less the cost of the goods you had bought.

Thanks Boo - but contactless limit is only £45.

Add - Ironically, notes are probably worse but I need cash for a payment! I can use gloves for handling that!

Surely as it's plastic, just wipe it over with a sanitised wipe.  After all you've been wearing gloves (I take it) to put the card into the machine and then to enter your PIN number, and to withdraw the card.  Alternatively you could possibly isolate it for the required amount of time that you deem necessary.  How are you intending to sanitise the cash?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

I was thinking of the wipe method BB but there are various methods that I looked at. I'm concerned that I don't mess up the info on the card if the more invasive methods are used.
