This is the third photo of my grandfather Thomas Wilson as referred in my Post of 16th July regarding Seaforth Highlanders.
In this photo he is on the right.  Would my grandfather always have worn the kilt i.e. could the other men in the photo also be Seaforth Highlanders.  Might this photo be when Thomas was in the Labour Corps.
Thank you for your help.
(Etiquette wise - could I have made all this part of my original post?  |If so I wasn't sure how to do that.)

Still getting "unsafe" messages!!!

The others don't look like Scottish regiments.  He is wearing his warrant officers' crown so towards the end of his Seaforths service or in his Labour Corps service.  There are instance of men wearing the uniform of their original regiments while in the Labour Corps (source No Labour No Battle).

In photo two he is wearing his wedding ring?

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

It's much easier to use the "Reply" button on the original thread ;D

Regarding the wedding ring - I think it may be a signet ring as it is his left hand and he did wear one in later life - He did not marry till November 1919 and gives bachelor and not widower on his marriage certificate
Thanks for the other info. Tunod
