« on: Thursday 23 July 20 14:15 BST (UK) »
My Great Uncle, George Shepherd Smith born 1 Feb 1878 Forfar, served in the RH & RFA (service number 14117) in South Africa.
Attested at Dundee on 2 Feb 1901, discharged 28 Sept 1902
I am interested to know if he was awarded any medals during his engagement

South Africa 1901 and 1902, Transvaal clasp

Do you have his service records? It's all there on the 4th page:

Thanks Shaun.
I read this as the Queen's South Africa Medal for service in the 2nd Boer War with the Transvaal Clasp.
