Hi

Thanks, I've was fortunate to have visited the grave in person.  I'm not convinced about the year of birth.  I have many conflicting dates on various documents.  I need their marriage certificate...I looked in the same place (Manchester, Ct) that I found my grandmother's birth cert but no luck...per census, they were married 1891 or 1892.

I certainly cannot find an Irish birth record for either of them in that range. Possible the names were spelt differently.
From the 1900 Conn Census, it certainly looks as though the marriage was around 1892 & that Isabella may have been with child at that time.

Could they have been married at sea?

Marriage at sea is something I hadn't considered...if that was the case, would the passenger list have her with her maiden or married name, I wonder?I'm

Thank you,
