What era is this photo?
« on: Monday 27 July 20 15:32 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Recently my auntie and I have been going through old family photos and we can across this one.

We aren’t sure who the ladies are in the photo, but I think it’s a beautiful picture.

Is anyone able to give an estimate to when this photo was taken?

Thank you,
Courtney

Hello everyone.

Thank you so much for the responses.

Yes I was thinking around 1920s too. By the looks of the photo it seems they may be sisters but I can’t quite be sure. I’m going to have to do some more digging to see who they are.

Thank you,
Courtney

Marcel and finger waves were popular in the 20s and 30s. They provided a softer look than the straight bob. I found some good photos on www.chicvintagebrides.com
