No details given of their respective birthplaces

You have posted on the Durham board but the 1851 shows both were born in Northumberland. James in Newburn & Elizabeth in Hexham

I have asked the moderator to move your post to the Northumberland board

Census details are free at www.familysearch.org and you can look for their deaths using www.freebmd.org.uk

2  deaths listed for each Christian name on freebmd between 1851-1861 in the Gateshead RD.

Use GRO online to determine the ages of the 4 entries

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp

There is a possible baptism for Elizabeth in Hexham on Family Search

If you look at the free index at Durham Records Online you will see that in 1853 there is the death of a James Robinson aged 62, abode Barlow Letch, Winlaton.

You would have to purchase credits to get the full entry and find where he is buried.

Durham Records Online only have Winlaton burials going up to 1851, so his burial can't have been there.

I suggest you have a trawl through the Ryton records via the Durham Bishops transcripts.

I do not think this is the correct burial, Jen. There are actually 2 different James Robinson's living in Barlow in the 1851 census and both of the same age. The James Robinson who  married Elizabeth was a colliery overman - the death you have identified in Barlow Letch is for a farmer who actually left a will.

An Ancestry tree has the burial  for James Robinson  in Ryton Nov 30th 1856, age 66 abode Barlow. The image is on the Bts.

Re Elizabeth Cutter there is a transcription of a possible baptism  in 2 Family search collections , England Births and Christenings and Northumberland Parish Registers 28 April 1793 Hexham - father James Cutter.
