1885: Born 27 APR 1885 South Africa. This date is published on Roots Web. No further details found. Probably Cape Province. Her Father was an Actor then worked as a Manager in Kimberley Diamond Mines.
1937: Blanche died aged 52. Born 1885 not 1890 as sometimes published. Mother (maiden name Cole) got a Divorce then re-married. Only Blanche the youngest child adopted by Bernard Vidal Shaw her mother's new Husband. Free BMD shows she died age 52 in 1937 in England. i.e. Born 1885. Probably Cape Province. Again possibly Kimberley.
