Thomas Watkins

Hello,
i have found a Parish Record of TW's marriage to Elizabeth Lewis, 24 Dec 1868 at Bedwellty Parish Church, by R Herbert Morgan.
Witnesses; Catherine Anne Lewis and Benjamin Foxall.
The rest of the Record is blank.
I guess it is just an oversight by the Rev? or would there be an ulterior motive?

The marriage took place on Christmas Eve and on the previous page it looks like another marriage on the same date also lacked the same info but it was filled in with another pen

In Nov/Dec there are more with the same info missing

Thanks Kay.
I guess they were celebrating early.
So if I order certificate from GRO, that would be blank also?

Interesting thought - I presume it would be the same as the church record.   Maybe he intended to fill the other information in later but never got round to it :-\

I presume on Census Thomas is born c 1845 Tredegar?

WATKINS, THOMAS mmn JENKINS*****

1851 Census
1 Limekiln Row
Tredegar, Monmourthshire
David Watkins 37 Iron Miner
Ann Watkins 37
Sarah Watkins 13
William Watkins 8
Thomas Watkins 6
All born Tredegar

Sarah Powell   23 Wife
David Powell   2 Son
Ann Watkins   48 Mother in Law, Widow

Looking at Census I think Elizabeth LEWIS is likely the Daug of EDWARD/HANNAH Lewis
