Which link? What does it link to?
If the photo doesn't have a name how would we know if it was him or not?

There is a book 'Dublin tram workers, 1872-1945 / Bill McCamley'  about 'Dublin United Tramways'

http://www.dublinbusdrivers.com/Dublin%20Tramworkers%20Book.html
https://www.adverts.ie/non-fiction/dublin-s-tramworkers-1872-1945-bill-mccamley/18896429

And this archives site says 'C.S. Andrews claimed in his book, Dublin Made Me, that the Dublin United Tram Company had a policy of recruiting non-Dubliners.http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/exhibition/dublin/transport.html

It also says   The remorseless twentieth-century rise of the private car in Dublin had already begun in 1911. In that year there were a total of 5,058 registered cars, buses and lorries in Ireland, a large proportion based in Dublin.

So perhaps Edward Thorp came to Dublin to work for that reason

In 1912 The Swastika Laundry Company opened on Shelbourne Road Ballsbridge and many young Ringsend women worked at the Swastika laundry for twelve and six a week. I would think one of the jobs there was a 'presser' . https://comeheretome.com/2010/04/26/swastika-laundry-1912-1987/
