Dolman - occupation in a 1600s burial record?
« on: Tuesday 25 August 20 09:46 BST (UK) »
Hi there, I have discovered one of my ancestors, Jeffery Dolman of Helhoughton, is listed on his burial record (1664) as a "householder". His family were yeomen, at least in the next couple of generations down.

No one else in the records has anything like an occupation listed next to their names. I'd like to think it's because he's important, but any other suggestions?
