Quakers in Leicestershire and Suffolk
« on: Saturday 29 August 20 21:21 BST (UK) »
I have 2 Quaker lines but I cant find any of their marriages nor births of most of their children.

Evans family of Wigston, Leicestershire.

I have Emanuel Evans who dies 1735 Wigston, Leicestershire, Marries Mary Burley 13 Dec 1716 recorded at the monthly meeting of Leicester.
I can see no birth for him but his father is a John Evans, Yeoman, of Wigston who was also a Quaker. Emanuel is mentioned in Johns will alongside siblings Jonathan, Nathaniel, Katherine and John. John was married to an Alice but I can find no record of a marriage. John Evans dies 1716 Wigston, Leicestershire.

Nunn family of Bury St Edmunds and Gazeley, Suffolk.

I have Elizabeth Nunn born 1709 recorded in the monthly meeting of Bury St Edmunds.
Marries John Pye, A non Quaker, in 1726.
Her parents are a Joseph Nunn and Ann, I cant seem to see their marriage.

Any help appreciated.
