Having a little trouble finding birth and death for George Williams, he married Elizabeth Dillet (1912-2001) in 1945, Elizabeth was previously married to Alexander Walker Hart (1907-1941).

He married in Scotland.  As you know from previous posts  -  his marriage cert will give you his parents names & mothers maiden name.  It should also give you his age which will narrow any search for his birth

A George Williams died at age 64 in 1967 so born 1903. He died in Monkton/Preswick.

Another George Pointer Williams died 1982 at age 78 in Prestwick (mother's name Pointer). He would have been born 1904.

Something to look into anyways....

In 2001 an Elizabeth Hart died in Preswick at age 89 (Mother's maiden name Welsh). Born 1912.  She is also listed under Elizabeth Williams...

but you will have to wait until January to be able to view and download it online because of the 75-year rule.

Hi everyone, I got George's death certificate today. He died in June 1967 aged 64. His parents were Joseph Williams and Eliza. They both came from England. The death cert was signed by his son who is still alive.

There wasn't any maiden name. I would show the death certificate but it has the name of his son who is living. It says Eliza Williams M.S _____.
