My Great Parents John George Kinghorn and Wilhelmina Rowell married in 1904. John George`s Sister Hannah Scot Kinghorn married in 1905 to Wilhelmina Rowell`s brother Robert Rowell.
On the 1911 Census Robert, Hannah and children Winifred aged 4, Edward aged 3 and Thomas aged 4 month are living at Stobswood Colliery
In September 1912 Hannah aged 29 dies, The burial was on 14 Sept at St Johns chuch seaton hirst and then Thomas dies aged 23 Months and was buried 3rd December 1912 also at St Johns. The record on free reg gives burial address as 126 Katherine Street.
November 3rd 1913 Robert married Eliza Lumb and on their marriage certificate their address was 126 Katherine Street
Robert and Eliza go on to have 5 children themselves.
Edward Rowell born 1908 the son of Robert and first wife Hannah died in 1928 in a swimming accident in Newbiggin by the Sea, His address at time of burial was 164 Woodhorn Road.
In 1939 Robert Rowell aged 61 died and his address was also 164 Woodhorn Road at time of burial.
I cant seem to find a marriage, death for Winifred Rowell who was born 1906 possibly in Ulgham, Northumberland so remains a mystery
