Robert FAHY from Dowery or Dowry

One of my ancestors is Robert FAHY who married in Dunkirk (now In France) in February 1643. It's written that he came from Doery, which may correspond to "Dowery" or "Dowry". Did a parish or a place exist in Ireland at this time? Robert FAHY emigrated in Flanders probably around 1640. Does a list of emigrants exist anywhere? In 1643, Dunkirk was not yet French. The city was a Spanish possesion.

Perhaps Derry (as in Londonderry). You can search for Irish townlands here but since the event in question took place so far from Ireland it may the the general area he came from rather than exact place.

Many thanks for your reply. Firstly, I thought that Londonderry or Derry did not match very well with Doerie but after discovering that the gaelic name is 'Doiry" and listening to the pronunciation of Derry, your proposal seems quite acceptable. Does it exist a list of Irish emigrants around 1640?
