Look Up Request - Patrick McPolin death 1979 obituary - Belfast Telegraph

IS anyone able to look up an obituary in the Belfast telegraph for me for a Patrick McPolin - the article is in the Saturday 07 April 1979 paper.

Hoping this is "my" Patrick born 16 October 1912, sister Ellen

Apart from the usual thanks for expressions of sympathy etc , the item refers  to " Ellen McPolin and Family Circle 28d West Crescent ". ( 28 is unclear , could be 23 ).

Looks like it may be the right person anyway - will add it to my list to check the death the next time I am at PRONI

They lived in McDowells Row in Greencastle, which as far as can make out was demolished for the building of the M2, and West Crescent seems to be Newtonabbey - so makes sense they would move there.

The only immediate he had was his sister Ellen, which again ties in with this,

Yes, that's the one, My Great Granny is from there, and the Patrick I was asking would be her nephew - have seen many different spelling of it over the years on various certificates etc.

The GRONI computers in PRONI are not accessible at present (Covid restrictions). That whole search room is closed until further notice.

Ordering a copy of the certificate from GRONI appears to be the only way of accessing post 1970 deaths for the foreseeable future.
