« on: Wednesday 30 September 20 11:32 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Can anyone suggest what the third word (after natural decay) in cause of death might be.

Many thanks

Are you able to share any other handwriting examples from the certificate?

The word certainly seems to have the second letter 'r', but I'm unable to see the first as 'B' as Carol suggests?

A tough one. Comparing with the H in Hunt and the B in Bristol, it surely must start with H.  It also looks to end with ..chitis.

Agree with Mike - it definitely starts with 'H'. In which case, the second letter can't be what I originally thought, which was 'r'  :-\

If that wasn't so clearly an H, I could easily believe the rest of the word to be *ronchitis though.

The registrar was pretty consistent about crossing the letter 't' though  :-\

I think it's a mis-spelling of Rhonchitis.
