im searching for the marriage of Murtagh Conroy (born 1844) to Mary McDermott. They had a son Patrick born Mountmellick, county Laois, 1844.

Very sorry. Brain freeze. He was born Mountmellick,  County Laois, Irish Republic, 1944. Moved to Bradford as a child.

I have a marriage of a Murtagh Conroy to an Elizabeth Bracken, 1875, in Mountmellick

Is that Patrick or Murtagh?

If someone was born in 1944, they could still be living and we are asked not post those names.

The marriage certificate would give you his father’s name to confirm.

Here is 1851, Bradford - family Search shows two separate entries because the census goes over two pages.
