Mate I can’t thank you enough ..... all the family had was a memory of 2 photos on the wall ..... one in his khaki uniform and one of a grave somewhere .... it all ties in with the dates , mother father etc , so yeah I’d say that’s him ..... I’ll need go visit the memorial in Porthcawl now the next time I’m in wales ..... thanks again 👍

If you no longer have the grave photo it is possible to get one from the war graves photographic project (cost to email one to you would be £4, which helps to fund their work)
