I have an account at ancestry.co.uk

I was recently invited to view a contact's tree on Ancestry.

However, this new tree is on the Australian site ( ancestry.com.au ) and I apparently have to create a new account over there in order to view it.

This may be because I only have a free account, so I'd be interested to know if anybody else has come across this.

RESOLUTION (Thanks to everybody who responded):  You can log into any Ancestry regional site using the same login as your normal one. That even works with a free account.
Most roots researched back to the early/mid 1800s. Years noted as 'pre' refer to my direct ancestors, although I'm interested in any relatives:
Mitchelstown, Co.Cork: CORBETT (pre1935), SWEENEY  (pre1935), CUSACK? (pre1894), KEYS? (pre1894)
Mallow, Co.Cork: BROWNE (1895-1935)
Caher, Co.Tipp: BROWNE (pre1895), PURTELL(pre1895)
Cashel, Co.Tipp: FANNING (pre1886)
Llanelly, Carms: GRIFFITHS (pre1934), REYNOLDS (pre1901), WILLIAMS (pre1934)
Ton Pentre, Glams: LEWIS (pre1901)

What I'm really wondering, I suppose, is this:

If somebody has an ancestry.co.uk account with a paid subscription, will they get member tree matches only to member trees at ancestry.co.uk ?

Or looking at it another way:

Is it necessary to create accounts at each regional Ancestry site, duplicating your tree at each, in order to get member tree matches at the different regional sites ?

Even with a free account your login should work across all of the sites. I have a paid account but if I visit one of the other sites I am sometimes asked to log in again to view records.

I did have access to a relatives site on Ancestry for many years whilst free account, Early this year I informed my relative that I no longer had access, her reply was as far as she knew I still should have access.
I usually accessed her tree by a link from when I receive a email stating she has added more information. I can no longer can do that.

I've been meaning to contact Ancestry to get their take on the issue, also to see if I can merge my 3 accounts I somehow ended up with on Ancestry.
Ancestry is aware I have 3 accounts and I am sometimes asked which account I would like to log into.
Jeffs - Northamptonshire to Leicestershire to Queensland, Australia
Lewis - Wales to Gloucestershire to NSW & Queensland, Australia
Iddols & Baylis - Gloucestershire
Mary Jones, daughter of James Jones and Eliza - born abt 1864 Staffordshire, died 1948 Queensland, Australia

When I had problems with an Ancestry account I phoned, and they sorted it out.  Very good service.

They must send you an in invitation to see the tree if you only have a free account. Paid users can see all public trees without invitation, but still require invitation for private trees. The person must go to settings and sharing on their tree and either input your email or username in the sharing and click share or get a shareable link and send you that via email. You should not need different accounts for different country versions of Ancestry.

Thanks for the replies.
Problem solved.
I hadn't realized that my ancestry.co.uk login details would work on the ancestry.com.au site.
Plus the invitation email from Ancestry.com.au took me straight to a sign-up page where the "Already have an account? Sign in" link was just off the bottom of my screen, so I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
