Descendants of Jacob Basch (1832-1913) and Emma Basch

I am writing on the off chance that there might be someone on this forum with a connection to my Basch family. Jacob (1832-1913) and Emma Basch emigrated from England to the USA on the SS New York in 1873.

They lived in Fulton Street. NY. I traced them on the US census up until 1930 and then the trail went cold.

It would be interesting if I could find a descendant on this forum who might be able to share with me old photos or other documents. I know it is a long shot, but who know!

Also, I am not sure if I should be posting this to the US Resources forum instead.

Have you looked for naturalization papers there could be a photo on there
Also it's worth looking for wider family who may have family photos .what else do you know about this couple
What was Emma's maiden name ?
Can you give names of any children or siblings and details of where they lived in England

Is there a chance they were from another country before England ?
If they anglisized their surname during WW2 
That could explain why you couldn't find them later

At the bottom of each RootsChat page is a brown section.  In the brown section you will see Surname Interests - this is where you can add your family surname and then anyone coming along later can see your family interest.

If we can move forward, it may be possible to find relatives or they may google and see this thread and join it.  Can happen quite often.
