yes, thank you, I was unsure from reading the original birth certificate if it was Macbeth or MaeBeth as the middle name.

Hi Family Hedge
I am really interested to learn more about James Shaw McGrindle.
I know the mausoleum in Monaghan very well and am researching its history.I saw James headstone recently  - it mentions he was 37 years old when he died.
Could you please tell me where he was from and how he died.  I understand it was an accidental gun shot wound. What were the circumstances of his death.

James McCrindle was a gamekeeper for Lord Rossmore on his grouse shooting lands on Sliabh Beagh (there was a hunting lodge there). It appears that he was crossing a wire fence when his gun accidentally discharged, and he died as a result. He died on 11th June 1909 from shock/haemorrhage due to gunshot wound.
