Looking for a Dartford Burial about 1785 +/- 3 years *COMPLETED*
« on: Saturday 07 November 20 22:33 GMT (UK) »
Thomas NEWINGTON's Will was written 31 Aug 1782 and proved 04 April 1785.  Thomas identified as a Gentleman was living at Dartford at the time of writing his Will.

I am unable to locate a burial for Thomas and hoping for some assistance please.  In part I am hoping there may be an age given at his burial which may then help me to determine his parents.

There was a Thomas NEWINGTON baptised    23 Nov 1720 at Dartford, Holy Trinity son of Thomas NEWINGTON & Eleanor [as yet maiden name is unknown] and at the same place a second named Thomas to the same parents on 10 Oct 1723.

Hopefully the burial may provide additional clues to help me resolve questions of his parentage and if he married as his Will provides no clues to people and their relationship to him.

Go to image 9 (of 28), last entry on the page. Buried 23 March 1785. No further information, unfortunately.

No. There isn't one place for all of Kent. This site, Medway Archives, has parishes in the diocese of Rochester. Many other Kent parish registers are on FindMyPast.
