Location of Woodhead Canonbie in 1700's

Is anyone able to give me the location of Woodhead, Canonbie in the mid 1700's.

On old maps I have found 'New' Woodhead and 'Outer' Woodhead but not just 'Woodhead'.

Maybe it is the same as one of those or a farm built on the same site as one of those.

Grateful for any help.

I'm pretty sure that New Woodhead and Outer Woodhead will be parts of what was previously just called Woodhead.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
