We are trying to assist a third/fourth cousin match to my adopted Uncles DNA, but they do not know anything to do with the background of their grandfathers family.

The facts known are the above gentleman was born in Toronto, Canada on 10th January 1921, married, and died in 2014, also in Toronto.

Whilst we have looked for birth/marriage/census records, we have been unable to find any matches – but hope that he may be connected to a family from Kent, England who emigrated to Toronto in the early 1900’s and who is in my Uncles family tree.

Sorry not much to go on, but any clues would be gratefully received.

If that is him - middle name James - and names of his 4 daughters are in the Obit.   All of them have a facebook.

I have found his obituary which mentions children and grandchildren, but still looking for his parents.
