Repatriation - Liverpool Transit Camp

I wondered if anybody would be able to add a little more meat onto the bone of my uncle being repatriated to the transit camp at Liverpool. He disembarked on the 17th March 1944 at Liverpool. I would love to find out on what ship, where it came from and any details about location of the transit camp.Or any other interesting information.

He was Trooper 7888560 Dennis Alfred William LANGMAID Royal Tank Regiment
