I have these - Anne & Katherine were born on the same day but it says their father is Humphrey of Titterford and Humphrey of Romsley?

Any ideas.

It's difficult to make any judgement without seeing where you have got this from, or where somebody else has got it from.

It is in the parish records for Alveley in Shropshire.

I think you mean that they were baptised the same day, not necessarily born.

It does read that Ann was the daughter of Humphrey Elcock of Titterford and Kathleen the daughter of Humphrey Elcock of Romsley(?) - all one entry.

Two separate entries on after another.  Yes of course it could be they weren't born at that time or at least one of them.
