Bantry Church of Ireland records
« on: Friday 11 December 20 12:09 GMT (UK) »
Dear all,

Does anyone know where the CofI records for Bantry area are kept/whether they are online?

I am looking for a John Jones born around 1801 in Bantry (could be RC but I think probably CofI), son of Thomas, a soldier, and Margaret Jones (who were also married in Bantry around 1799-1800).

Thanks,
A

Have a look at what the RCBL in Dublin holds for Bantry CoI. Refer to Kilmocomoge on the list.

Thank you for your replies.

For the baptisms in the range I am looking for it just says 'Held by the Public Record Office in 1919.' - any idea if they still survive as I know some were destroyed?

Thanks,
A
